ARCLINE is a Melbourne-based brand operated by Arcline Studio (we, us, our).

We design custom minimalist artwork generated from user-provided GPS route data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate our services.

a) Email Subscribers

When you join our mailing list, we collect:

  • Email address

This is used solely for launch updates, offers, and product announcements.

b) Orders (When Live)

When you place an order, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Shipping address
  • Order details

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or Shopify Payments). ARCLINE does not collect or store full credit card numbers. Payment information is handled directly by the payment provider in accordance with their security standards.

c) Route Data (Strava)

If you connect your Strava account, we request read-only access to selected activity data, including route GPS data and basic activity metrics (such as distance, time, and elevation) necessary to generate artwork.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Generate custom artwork
  • Process and fulfil orders
  • Communicate with you about your order
  • Send launch updates (if subscribed)
  • Respond to customer enquiries and support requests

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

4. Data Storage and Retention

  • Email data is stored securely with our email service provider.
  • Order information is stored securely within our commerce platform.
  • Strava authentication tokens (where applicable) are stored securely and used only to retrieve authorised activity data.
  • Raw activity GPS data is not permanently retained after artwork generation.
  • Generated artwork files are retained for order fulfilment and potential reprints. Customers may request deletion of stored artwork files at any time.
  • Transaction records may be retained where required for legal or accounting obligations.

We retain data only as long as necessary for business and legal purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services including:

  • Hosting providers - Vercel
  • Payment processors
  • Email providers
  • Shipping providers
  • Strava APIs

Each provider maintains its own privacy standards.

6. Your Rights

You may:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of stored artwork or personal data (subject to legal obligations)
  • Disconnect your Strava account at any time
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails
